Love gives a gig

Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai has called on her dear fans to stop crossing her boundaries whenever they bump into her.

The businesswoman shared a series of posts on her Instastory asking fans to ‘behave’ when they meet celebrities in real life.

She expressed how annoyed she gets when she meets people who ask for her personal number rather than give out their business cards and later spam her phone with request messages.

Part of what she wrote online read: “When you meet public figures, could you please let them be and respect their spaces. Recently, I have experienced behaviours I haven’t appreciated. First, I don’t get why when people show me their Instagram pages through my page, choose to follow themselves back without even asking me if it’s okay. (Disrespectful).”

She also asked people to stop begging her to tag their products if she ends up paying for them. “My page is my personal space. I would go somewhere or buy something and someone would still insist on tagging or mentions. If I pay for something, kindly do not expect a mention. Also, stop using my images to promote anything. I thought I put that out because I know most public figures would agree with me,” she added.

She urged people to ensure they have business cards that they can issue out than beg for personal numbers.

“If you do not have a card, please don’t ask for phone numbers. I find it very annoying,” she said.
