In a candid interview with journalist Lynn Ngugi, Divinar revealed that Joseph remained silent for 3 weeks after her giving birth to quadruplets . When her husband reappeared, she admitted that he was going through a tough time and had heart problems. There was silence again after that, but her mother paid all the hospital bills for Divinar and the quartet. He briefly came to Kenya when the children were three months old.
Divinar ignored all red flags and miscommunication and assumed he was sick. She once told her followers on social media to pray for him as he had a heart attack. The husband who could not support them financially, wished well on her maternity leave.
She started teaching again at an international school but left after a while and started teaching Swahili online so she could focus on taking care of her children.
She found out last year that Joseph married a black American, and when confronted by her he confessed and said that he would easily get an American visa and would soon divorce her and return for his children.
However, Divinar says she doesn't want anything to do with him because of the heartbreak of having an only children due to the many lies she told him and the lies of heart surgery.
